The founder of the company is a civil engineer Nikolai Grigoryevich Abakshin
НNikolay Grigoryevich has been involved in construction design since the age of 16. in 1965, he began his career in the architectural and construction department of the State Institute "GIPROCEMENT" as a draftsman student. At the same time, he studied at the LISI Institute, reached the position of an engineer, and then changed his place of work to the GIPROSTEKLO Institute.
After working at the Institute and serving in the army in 1980, Nikolai Grigorievich entered the position of chief specialist at the Lenproektstalkonstruktsiya Institute (LENPSK), then from 1983 as chief engineer of the project he worked in the department of industrial structures until 1990.

Thanks to the support of LENPSK for the inventive activities of its employees, Nikolai Grigorievich received author's certificates for inventions on the topic of vibration dampers in building structures. There were two of them - in 1983 in the authors' community and in 1989 - individually.
Since 1986, the cooperative movement and the commercial activities of small enterprises have been widely developing in our country. Engineers in many fields organized themselves into various structural communities and were able to earn in proportion to the work invested. This is how LENKON was created.
